Default LE 607-90 diff fluid

Has any one used this it is recommended by road rage in early 2004. I consider him a very reliable source and I want to hear any experiences, positive or negative.

It's probably the most commonly used differential fluid used by people on s2ki.

I don't use it personally just because it gets too cold here in winter, but if my car were only summer driven it would be the fluid I use.

Sure must be very good;but ,I don't use it personally either, because,it is not readily available, and it is expensive to have it shipped.
I use Redline 75W90;remember,oil is oil;not a miracle in a can.!!!

Oil is not just oil, but it sure is not a miricle in a can. There are many variables that go into creating a high quality product.

LE-607 works great for me and I don't plan on switching. If I were to drive my car year-round through the winter I would use the Redline 75W-90 though.

Almost two years in the diff so far. Another vote of confidence in LE 607 (RR also).

It's not just not recommended, it's dangerous and will likely destroy the transmission if you were foolish enough to put LE-607 in there.

Thanks. I am sooooooo glad someone typed that. NEVER put LE607 in your transmission.
