Can we please lock this ego maniac's self centered thread please? It's apparent that his ego has taken such an immense impact that he is going overboard on trying to prove to himself (And I guess the rest of us?) that he is still King Shit. It actually makes me feel more sorry for those in his life who have to put up with someone like that on a regular basis.
Honestly OP you need to just admit that you made an error, apologise to the person you called out, and stop talking. Cuz in case you havent noticed the hole you have dug yourself is only growing bigger and you are destroying your rep on this site.
The bottom line is that the S2000 is more than capable of holding an infant passenger, and the owner obviously does not want to buy a Civic just so he can drive his child around for a couple hours the odd time he gets upset.
And please stop talking about CIVICS! It's completely irrelevant as I'm sure there are even safer (and faster) cars out there. That is why you make yourself sound like a civic ricer fan boi.

cool story bro, i've only had my s2k for seven months ... given once i've had it as long as you've your ap1 it'll surpass your claimed 500hp - no srs btw, idgaf about that much horsepower as it's useless on the street

listen people your missing what i was trying to say, maybe the way i came off. i am not bashing an s2000 in anyway, its my favorite automobile ever made and not jsut for the looks like 99 percent of the people that own them. it just seemed to me like this dude saw a civic and thought wow a civic they are lower class then me. like when he stated he saw a riced out civic, when actually my brothers civic is one of the cleanest civics around and gets alot of respect from people. its kind of discusting with how many people are haters to civics. all i was trying to do is get a close up on a clean looking s2000 and saw a baby riding shutgon. not going to lie, first reaction was wtf? really.. anyways never said my brother hauls ass with his kid. and for a civic with his mods making 215hp is actually really good. if you know your hondas you would know that.

You still never answered my question on how a civic/sub-compact car is better than a S2000 in regards to safety from a larger vehicle.

You're welcome. Of course the civic will have a higher crash rating. But curtain airbags, will most likely be a moot point when dealing with infants/small kids. But the fact of the matter is when dealing with larger vehicles, sure crash ratings help, but overall any sub-compact/compact car isn't going to fair well.
But I do agree that, if any owner that doesn't have an 06+ or cutt off switch, they should really think about the well-being of the child sitting in that seat.
