Launching? Popping the Cluthc? HUH???

The clutch really needs more breakin than any other part of the car. Give it a couple thousand miles before doing hard launches. I have over 10k on mine now and it no longer slips or smelss, even when I botch the launch. Of course, reduced traction from teh rear tires helps too.
Also, you really need to focus on getting off the clutch as soon as possible. If you try and pull your foot back quickly, it may not be quick enough. I put my toe on teh side of the clutch pedal and just rotate it off.
