Last year of the S2000?
I just read thru my January Road and Track, and it appears Honda may axe the S2000 and no new model for 2006 or 2007 in sight? Their reasoning is slow sales?
I searched thru some posts, are there any other stories to confirm this?
I've been wanting a S2k, but a new baby and house has delayed my plans. I may just be forced to looking at a used one in a couple of years if this is true.

This is a thread that gets repeated every model year. For now, it's still too far off to see what Honda will do with the S. Don't change or accelerate your plans for the S until honda says what they are going to do.

It was very, very late into 2003 before Honda anounced what the 2004 model was going to be. I guess if they can keep it tight lipped, why not? I thought 2006 has been confirmed; same as 2005 with heated mirrors- or is that 2005?
A factory supercharger, styling evolution updates, better looking calipers, and maybe an SMG trans option is all Honda needs to beat with the latest roadsters.
I personally can't imagine that Honda will be absent from the sportscar market all together. It's hard to count the NSX because of its low volume. Every manufacturer is putting great products out (in this segment), so the business is out there for Honda to take. I hope they come out with HSC before an S2000 replacement.
