I saw one yesterday for the first time, beautiful color but why are you trading up for a car 2 years newer and 10k less miles? deal you can't turn down?

Do you folks think the the Laguna Blue is a plus or negative color on selling the S?
Neither really. Color's very subjective. It depends on what the potential buyer wants.

I have received only compliments on the color. Especially when I see another S driver on the road...The first thing to come out of their mouth is how much they love the color. Then they compliment on the HT. Heck, the dealer had to look for one and drive it down from mid/North-Cali because there were none available in Socal. The only ones available at the dealership were a Berlina S and a SSM S(had disgusting 5 spoke 18 inch axis wheels).

I think that LBP is one of the rerest colors available in the US...The color was an 06+ Ap2 color. The only other rarer US available color I can think of is Chacane/syncro silver...Which is an '08+ color.

I mean, C'mon...Who can say no tho this?!!(time to whore a pic to remind you how good the color looks in the right light)

I did.

That was my number 1 choice when I was getting my '08 but I decided to swap its place with GPW. I even passed over a few LBPs that dealers had in stock and had to wait a few months for my GPW to arrive.

To me, I felt that the blue was just a little too "loud," that I'd get a little tired of it after owning it for a while. That, plus the fact that I didn't want a plain Jane black interior sealed the deal for getting the GPW instead.

I still like LBP but my GPW was certainly worth the wait.

I have the LGB '06 and like yours has really low miles. I would never consider buying another S.
I love the car but, with so many cars and so little time why would the OP buy the same car?
Get Lotus, Porshe, Atom or some other cool ride. Either keep the S or lose it and enjoy having known the car like a fine woman.

What I don't understand is why you are selling your 06 LBP for an 08 GPW. It's not like the GPW is brand new or your LBP is wrecked or anything.

Save your money for more important things. Like a rollbar for track days.
I agree. Why upgrade to a car that is nearly identical and will likely put you in the hole at least $5,000.
