Went to the LA auto show bright and early today. To my disappointment, they had only one S2000 on show, a spa yellow with a hardtop:

But the Honda lady was very nice indeed she also said that the hardtop will NOT be available until after Spring. I asked about the 1/15 availability, and she said it's not true.

Unfortunately my wife was there with me, so I couldn't take more pics of the girls...er, I mean rides.

Here're some auto show pics:

The windshield frame is black. Wonder why they didn't remove the tape?

I take it you liked the carrera gt. Nice.

How did the Acura Tl-S look? Was there any info regarding a coupe version?

IMHO the hardtop "Miata-izes" the look of the S2000.

I'm not too fond of the look but I appreciate its practical benefits.

Thanks for the great pics Richard. You done good. Saved me having to go there myself now.

IMO, the yellow S2K was the wrong color car to show; if anything, it should have had the top down. I thought the BMW M looked unspectactular, and the front of the Thunderbird looked all wrong.

Is it just my perception, or are the car shows getting to be really boring......mostly because of uninspiring cars on display?

oh yeah! the Carrera GT was very nice indeed, but at 500,000 a copy, I'd rather get a nice house in Brentwood (small one )

in case you're wondering who the girl in white is, that's my wife, sitting in her (possible) future car: 2001 Mercedes C class. that's the only female I was allowed to take picture of

Great pictures Mingster and you have a lovely wife. No need to take pictures of the other girls while she's around. Of course if you had taken their pictures I would have looked!
