I wanted to try this out.

I'll get the exact spring rates next week.

Okay - I got a few different stories from Comptech as I spoke to different people. They all assured me this is a coilover set even though it is basically a pairing of Koni Yellows with Comptech adjustable springs. They say the two were matched, but as I'm opening boxes it looks like the Konis and the Comptech springs are totally separate

What I kept getting on spring rates is: adjustable between 10% and up to 25% stiffer than stock, but the Konis are adjustable as well, making the combination "infinitely adjustable" <----Comptech's words.

I'm still going to give them a try though

Here they are:

and this just so happened to come in at the same time

The Wilwood kit looks sick;I didn't think Wilwood offered a kit for the S2000,where did you get it and will it fit the oem wheels?

The 4 Piston kit fits the OEM wheels

Check with Evolution (evo S2000), Docofmind, or AHHVTEC.

No problem

It was the Dragon that inspired some of this

Everything is installed:

But - I think we set these suckers a little too low

The ride is much more firm than stock, but I've got to give them another 200-300 miles before playing with the firmness - I would like it a little stiffer. Comptech did not send the spring adjustment tool, so we had to raise a perch on the Konis today to stop the rubbing. The car is little off on ride height between the front and rear, but going to the higher perch made the ride stiffer - which is to me! As soon as I get the spring adjuster I will play with them some more and post up my thoughts.

As for the brakes - they too need to be broken in some more. Wow are they touchy, and I can tell I'm going to have to hold on to my eyeballs when I stomp the brake

We'll expect a full test report with post-drive celebration pics.

He didn't tell me to keep the rate cards, so they might be in the trash. I can look tommorrow for ya.

I wanna say the rears are x2 the front rates???

I do remember the fronts were RF-212.x, LF-215.x. They had hand written tags, which means they were each measured for their exact rates.
