Default Koni fully adjustable suspension kit - any opinions?

I've been researching coilovers for a little while now, and just came across Comptech's new offering. Apparently Comptech has replaced Ohlins with the Konis now and they are about half the price.

The Konis give a drop of .5" to 2.5" in ride height and are infinitely adjustable on spring rate (so I'm told).

Here is a link to them: http://solar.innercite.com/comptech/120210.html - but it doesn't give a whole lot and I can't find much on them on the Koni website, so I'm turning to you guys

I run the occasional AutoX, want the drop for show, and am just looking for some better handling all around - this is my daily driver.

Comptech has always sold these suspension pieces. It's basically the Comptech adjustable springs mated with Koni Yellows.

I didn't see the Ohlins kit on the website, but I think Comptech is offering this new Comptech/Koni setup as a cheaper alternative, not as a replacement for the Ohlins.

I just got off the phone with Comptech - they said "replace" and those are Koni springs matched to Koni shocks. It is a new offering from Comptech.

Yes, they've always sold the Koni Yellows, but not like this.

I went ahead and ordered these suckers, so I guess I'm going to be one of the first.

I already did - what are you going to do about it

And Koni has been building suspension systems for a little while now - I have no worries what so ever

Besides, it's only money - I can always make more! and I didn't pay that much for them

Just like poindexter said, these are Koni products and I would have a good amount of blind faith in their quality. That and the fact that comptech feels they are high enough quality to offer along with their own product line would be more than enough in my book to give it a shot.

Not to mention that the sheer convienence of having a company like comptech behind the product would put these a small step above the Teins and Buddyclubs in terms of servicing.

Why not just do the Koni/Ground Control set up? Same shocks with Eibach springs and adjustability for less than $1k....
