Default KN short intake, not cold air

Any comments concerning the KN short intake and filter? How does this intake system compare to the cold air systems in installation and performance?

Check the dyno day we had a while back Sat . Jul. 12th 2003, click on photos and scroll down Tampa Bay Dyno day in July I had only a short ram intake and had 207hp and 143 tq . This was more than even the guys with cold air AEM style intakes and exhausts! The install is easier and the maintenance of the filter is easy as well. You will get better throttle response and a louder intake growl with a short ram.

I've had the K&N Fuel Injection Performance Kit (FIPK) sitting around my house for a few weeks now...i'm at school so i need to wait another week or so till i'm home and i can put it on. It's essentially a short ram but with a box that seals when the hood closes...i picked it up for 230 at hopupracing.com. I'll definately post in the next week or so what my thoughts are after i throw it on.
