KG/MM Race + Koni Yellows = Bad Combination?????
I dont know why but I think Kg/m race springs are really not suitable for koni yellows. The ride is harsh even if I adjust to the softest setting. It feels as though I am still using the stock shocks cause they ride the same. Is it because Koni Yellow is not a good match against stiffer springs? The harsh ride is driving me crazy to the point where I wanna replace my springs or better yet sell my springs and shocks and get coilovers..............Can ou guys give me some input thanks!

kg/mm springs are known to be very stiff, especially the race version. i think the kg/mm super sports are a better match, and you can use the lower perch to make it have the same drop as the race springs.

I think the problem is the springs, they are too stiff. I am thinking about getting Espelir springs to match the Konis, what you guys think? Thanks

If you're looking to replace your springs...and I cannot speak for race...but I can say with confidence just how satisfied I am with super sports from KG/MM. I'm running KG/MM Super Sports with Koni Yellows and I'm extremely happy. Still stiff...but only slightly moreso than stock. But with the drop I have to respect that there is less shock travel to absorb bumps...thus a stiffer ride. But again, the super sports have a less severe drop than [most] other springs out there. And they're soft enough that I have excellent control and feedback.

From what I've been able to research, I'm leaning towards the Ground Control/Koni set-up. The Eibach springs are 340f/380r which may be too 'soft' for you guys but it is suppose to be a very complementary combo for the car. Stiffer than stock('04) with adjustable height.
