I think that one reason I am getting the hard clunk when taking off hard is because of my new tires are grabbing a little better than the old ones. Never noticed the clunk under hard launch conditions with eagle f1 gsd3 tires but just put on a set of falken rt 615 tires and noticed a little more grab and clunk when trying to take off hard. Also just like you said when it warms up dont really notice any noise at all. The only prob is where I live is that when I first pull it out the first 3 miles of my trip to wherever I am going is nothing but curves and switchbacks. Can be kinda fun to do the twistys but at the same time I know it is not good on the rear when it is cold so I guess you have to give a little to get a little.

One of the reason I doubt that I have a Kaaz is I can use castrol 80w90 or Mobil 1 synthetic and it runs the same. Im pretty sure if I had a Kaaz I would have issues with mobil 1 synthetic. And the lsd works properly.

Spiffy, I wonder if those new tires might have cracked the spider in the inner CV joint ... Or maybe the extra grip is about to spit the gears out of the back of the pumpkin. Unexplained noises worry me.

Touges, it doesn't sound like you have a KAAZ to me. I think you'd know.

Well when I first got the car the first thing I did is change the diff and tranny fluids along with the oil and upon closer inspection of the rar it is a kaaz I just dont think that it was properly taken care of by the previous owner but who knows. As far as the unexplained noises yes they worry me a little bit as well so for now I am taking it easy untill I get time to pull the cover off and inspect everything closely just so that I know that nothing is broken stressed or about to rip out.
