thing is, I work full time, imagine that! And goto NYC for work for 6 days, followed by Tahoe for 4 days, and leaves me no time to drive it back!

sounds like i should consider covered....
Just buy some crank, if you average 65mph, you would be home in 38 hours.

if you have good credit, you can get 3.9% no problem.

the 2.9% is subsidized by honda to move inventory. they probably won't do it in this case.

I understand the time issue, so that may make it impossible to drive it. But the mileage issue? Heck, you woudl have it broken in and ready to rock long before you got home. And, frankly, wheterh the car has 650 miles or 3000 miles, once it is titles, it is used. The price difference if you try to sell it privately won't be that great. Drive it, that is what it is for.

Now, one key is if you do decide to drive it home, you do need snows and a second set of cheap wheels. If you are not using it year round anyway, and were thus going to buy snows anyway, this may be a deterrent. In that case, ship it (closed). Driving it (with appropriate rubber) woudl be more fun though. A little adventure is good every now and then.

Have fun with it.

A friend of mine had his Ferrari delivered by Horseless Carriage. That's one of the shippers which were recommended by other Ferrari owners. So there are good shippers around. Now, it did take a while to get the car actually picked up. But that was in June. Might not be such a backlog this time of year.

It's pretty hard to break a car just by driving it, unless the whole 600 miles was at 9000RPM

This was a very good deal. There are guys asking more than this for cars with 10K miles on them!

I recommend http://www.intercitylines.com/. They did a great job taking my car from Boston to Houston in Janruary. Enclosed trailer, professional people.
