Can someone explain to me how its possible to lose a front spoiler?!?!
What the HECK! UPS how do you lose a box that big!?! It made it all the way from california to chelmsford, MA. Then bang!! Its just gone!

Does anyone from UPS post to this board? HELP

I think its time for UPS to get some better security! I've done electrical and network communciation installs there. You have to sign in and out. So how do you get a box that big out passed the security guard.

I must give props to Rich at Import Development he is trying to get this resolved, NOT that its his fault that UPS can get their crap together!! I think my head is going to POP!!!!GGrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!

Yeah, I just bought some new shoes online like two weeks ago . . . 7-10 business days my ass! Not as big as a front spoiler, but still . . .

BTW, what spoiler did you get?

 

He got the front spoiler that *looks similar* to the Amuse front spoiler but not the same (that was for you Chris! ), and I have requested UPS to investigate. UPS said they've put a "tracer" on the package, and should get back to me in 5 to 10 business days. They have NO idea how it got lost, but I have heard people at UPS do steal from time to time.

 

Richard, remember when I bought the JR filter? That package went up and down the West Coast between you and Vancouver about 3 times before it finally jumped ship and got to me. UPS That spoiler is probably only making its 2nd pass across the States. It's got one more circuit to make yet.

UPS sucks big time. not too long ago, they lost my very important express mail. after several phone calls and three days later, they finally called me and claimed they will track it down. four months passed and i am still waiting for those idiots to admit they lost my mail. those ****in' idiots. now i only use fedex for critical packages.

 

UPS are my least favoured shipper. Despite that it's not uncommon for goods to go missing sometimes. I've lost all manner of things including strut tower braces, floormats and other large items which I've had to replace at my own expense. Late September / Early October 2001 I lost a couple of thousand dollars worth of shipments despite knowing for sure they arrived in the US. I can only assume due to various scares at the time that a lot of stuff got put in a pile and burnt or was stolen.

 

Damn...sorry to hear about that. Hopefully you get this resolved soon.

At least you live close enough to Mingster that you could drive up and pick it up or you could even meet him half way. The rest of us are at the mercy of Unqualified Parcel Service.

 

What do you guys think of USPS? I have worked in many mail facilities across the country and I am surprised the mail get delivered, but it does. USPS does not guarantee delivery of overnight packages, although I have received all my express mail packages on time. My company uses FedEx exclusively. I must have sent or received 100 overnight packages and only one was a day late. Most online companies use UPS for cost savings. No problems with UPS except their online tracking. I have tracked packages and they said they were in route when I had the package in my hand.
