Just received and installed my Voodoo knob.

So Patrick, I thought Voodoo Bob might have put a spell on you, but seems like a few of the other guys have also been bewitched. If it's half as good as you say 30+ bucks is a "hex" of a deal for something that seems to fall between good wine and sex on the pleasure scale. I just emailed Bob my order, but I think I was in a trance when I did it. One minute I was staring at the "pearl" finish in the picture on the website....and then it was me, my stook, Elizabeth Hurley, top's down, twisty open road, and my hand....gently shifting the knob, and running her through her gears....Wow.

(All kidding aside, you convinced me. How close to the exterior finish on the Silverstone metallic is the pearl knob, it looks pretty close in the photos?)

The Magnum is slightly bigger than the standard. Given the stock Voodoo is 'wider' that the stock OEM knob, I's stick with the stock size Voodoo.
My spun knob does feel very cold in winter, but it is sooooo good, I happily live with it. I can't talk about the pearl. I believe that you can get some kind of 'shift knob condom' though.
Cheers

Sime, thanks for the info. I don't know about MI, but here in Calgary, it has been known to get down to -37C for days. This winter the coldest has been about -25C so that knob was really cooooold! And the knob condom? I don't practice safe sex with my car nor do I have a leather (knob) fetish. If only Voodoo could design a heated shift knob???? They do heated grips for motorcycles! What the heck, I'll get the pearl one anyway.

You guys, I ordered mine earlier this week. After using a borrowed knob for the past few days, I'm telling you that I'm beginning to want to start selling these for Voodoo! If you live in a cold/hot area, get the Ti knob. It's mucho bucks, but the temperature variation is much more bearable than AL.

Um, OK, silly question here. I just ordered a Voodoo knob off a Miata website. Teamvoodoo.com didn't differentiate thread sizes, etc, so I just assumed they were all the same. Am I going to have to send mine back for one that fits my S2000?
