Just flushed coolant...taking long to heat up now?

Default Just flushed coolant...taking long to heat up now?

I just finished doing a complete flush using xvipers instructions. now its taking my car a lot longer to heat up.....

has anyone had these problems or know whats wrong?

You probably have air in your heater core. You could try bleeding the system or just drive it for a while and top it up with a 50:50 mix of coolant and distilled water. Make sure your heater is turned full on when you drive for awhile. It should sort itself out.

That issue happend to me once but then i fixxed it
i made sure the fluid was full and bleed it and problems solved. Make sure there is no air in there
