Default Just dynoed my car.

Hey guys I just got back from dynoing my06. I did the hondata toda header program reflashed too.

My base line run with exhuast, toda header, intake, and berk highflow cat came out at 169.1 lbft of torque at the wheels and 238.0 hp.

After the flash the best run was 173.5 lbft of torque and 245.5 hp.

That is a 4.4 lbft of torque gain and 7.5 hp gain.

But what really impressed me was the gains at 5700 rpms. I went from 146.5 to 165.9 blft of torque and 160.3 to 180.5 hp gain.

I cant really feel the woot anymore when I vtec since it kicks in now at 4500 rpms.

This was done on a dynapack.

I was pretty impressed with my base run. I was hoping to get like 215 to 220.
But I ended up doing 238hp!!

Pictures of my dyna charts will be up soon.

K~

What gave it away? The incredibly optimistic results?

Shawn is a good tuner. Probably one of the best in the country but I agree that his dyno is a bit on the optimistic side.

I always knew his dyno was on the high side since all motor cars making 250whp would only trap 110 (a 200whp trap) but when honda-tuning referred to it as a "christmas dyno" I almost soiled myself lol.

Regardless of his happy numbers though, the difference in midrange from before to after is very impressive.
