Just Curious... Why Black?

IMO sports need colored interior. Black is just the regular look, doesn't look superior, doesn't look inferior.
However sports DO NOT look good with tan so I dont know where they went with that one.
I also do not see why some colors get certain colors. When you buy the car, you should be able to select the interior, regardless of exterior color.

black interior in a sports car to me says "i don't care about being flashy, pretty or bling, let's just get down to the business of driving". very purposeful color w/o any ambivalence about its intentions.
having said that, if honda offered the baseball mitt colored leather (that's available in porsches and the audi TT), i would jump on it.

Tan is not so bad and many sports cars come with it. I do wish we had more options with just the four colors Honda gives us. The tan only interior on the leather Miatas is a practical choice since it is much cooler (temperature). Tan looks good to me with almost any exterior colors except light silver (no flame intended) and yellow (obvious).

Actually 93% tint is hardly any tint at all. Tints are rated by the amount of light they let through, not the amount they block.
everyone judges tint diff
i got 7% vis on back/sides.. and 50% vis in windsheild.. FL kicks ass

altho i love my '00 silverstone/red , it's always felt a bit cavelike...[when i bought it in '99 there was no choice of colors; you took what the dealer had or waited for a really long time..] anyway i recently picked up a mid '70s 308 with a tan interior...tan everywhere but the dash top which. as explained ,needs to be black....tho the car is only a bit roomier than the honda it seems way more roomy and feels less confined..i think if honda offered a light interior color on the hardtop it would help...as i recall old 356 coupes had very light colored headliners no matter what the interior color...even the ragtops had a tan color on the inside with black on the outside. and don't get me started on finding the s2000 key slot at night....

Florida's got some crazy-lenient tint laws. I'd be wary of full frontal tinting.
