Thank you koshiro, I too would think this would just transfer some extra abuse down the drivetrain as well, but just a shot in the dark. Would the hard bushings that Mugen has do the same thing but not to the same extent? Maybe reduce some of the engine's 'shaking' but will allow for a little to be absorbed by the bushings and not transfer all of it down the drivtrain?

I have used this type of device in the past, and I believe it is quite different, and better, than using harder engine mounts.
This device is a damper, not a solid mount. It should not limit the range of motion of the OEM motor mounts. It should only, slow down and smooth out the torque movement of the engine.
It also should not transmit nearly as much engine vibration to the rest of the car, as the solid engine mounts. I think I read somewhere that the stock motor mounts are fluid-filled to reduce the vibration effects from the engine.
