gymkhana recommended. I've got 4.777;can't imagine how crazy 5.1 would be. Anyway, link to their site: www.jsracing.co.jp

Wow. Thats wild:
4.90:
Maximum speed in first gear: 35.8 mph
Maximum speed in second gear: 54.9 mph
Maximum speed in third gear: 75.8 mph
Maximum speed in fourth gear: 96.7 mph
Maximum speed in fifth gear: 115.6 mph
Maximum speed in sixth gear: 138.4 mph
Maximum speed in reverse gear: 40.1 mph
5.10:
Maximum speed in first gear: 34.4 mph
Maximum speed in second gear: 52.7 mph
Maximum speed in third gear: 72.8 mph
Maximum speed in fourth gear: 92.9 mph
Maximum speed in fifth gear: 111.1 mph
Maximum speed in sixth gear: 133 mph
Maximum speed in reverse gear: 38.5 mph
That would be interesting to see in a 1/4mi run. This could make for some VERY interesting Torque/HP debates.

I have asked Rick if he would make these and I never received a responce back. I have had the 4.77 final drive for about 5 months and love them.
However I think that the 5.1 would be amazing.
If Rick would carry them I would be down for a set.

they affect all gears.... limit how fast you can go (top end in each gear), but reach that speed sooner (acceleration).
think of it as a 10 speed bike. normal gearing is for all around driving.
go higher gear ratio is like shifing bike into 3rd. you accelerate faster than person next to you in 5th, but you have a lower top end.
for a longer race, he would catch and pass you because he works as hard as you, but is going faster.
for highway driving, is like putting the bike in a higher gear, other guy cannot accelerate worth anything, but once moving, he is working less to maintain a speed much higher than you can attain at 5th or 3rd gear...
