Big difference. Powertrain essentially covers all the internal pieces in your engine and transmission. The Bumper to Bumper warranty which is called comprehensive includes electrical, suspension, heating and air-conditioning, engine emission system and brake systems excluding all wear items.

Honda's warrentee sucks - my steering wheel was worn to the point of looking very bad after 20K miles (no i don't wear rings) and all of my 01 rims were very pitted / stained after one NE winter. after fighting with the dealership for over a month and calling American Honda they finally conceeded to fix the items BUT the service mgr made sure to tell me this was done as a one time "goodwill" gesture..

30k for a car and these guys don't care

Good for you. Just hope that you never have to make a claim for problems that are not so obvious or easy to diagnose.

If something stops working or throws a code they have to fix it by law. However, if something is working but not perfectly, that's when you have a problem.

It looks like you have a good dealership that still values customer satisfaction. I have not been able to find one yet after having lived in three different states and dealing with over 10 different Honda dealerships. This is why the warranty is useless to me
