I ordered it today. Should be 2 or 3 weeks.

A nice close photo would be good. Here's what I have:

A close up of the dash would be good.

That's what I wanted. Thanks.

From the exploded diagram above and your photo the surround doesn't include the Nav system bevel or buttons. It's just the frame.

Once I've got it the task is to find a screen and buttons or touchscreen that fits the dimensions nicely. Should be a fun project.

Can anyone tell me if that is the same system as that used in the MDX and other Acura's in the US?

That is similar to the TL, CL and Odyssey system.

But the MDX, RL system is slightly different - larger.

Just found a Flash demo.

Here's a screen shot:

Anyone know who makes the Nav system for Honda/Acura?

how much did the frame cost? did you buy the frame from a friend or a shop, could he order another one? i'm interested if he can get me one too

from the pic, it doesn't look symmetrical, the top right slopes down toward the driver's console, don't know if it will fit LHD cars, hmmmm, maybe you can flip the frame upside down

don't know which screen you want, but there's an aftermarket frame in japan for the panasonic wide screen monitor, i'll post a pic when i can find the magazine

RHD.

Wait till I get it and then I will let you know if it is symmetrical or not.
