JDM front turn signal sockets for JDM and Euro headlamps are in
Those of you who have PMed or emailed me about the sockets should know that they arrived today. I have ten pairs. Please note that these sockets are designed for the JDM and European market headlamp housings and will not fit the US housings The price is $20 each, plus $3.95 for shipping via Priority or First Class Mail.
If you've changed out your US housings for the JDM or European versions, you know that the US turn signal sockets, which use a wedge bulb, do not fit. These sockets, which accept a bayonet mount bulb, solve that problem. Using these sockets, you can fit the Phillps Silver Vision bulb or an amber bulb painted silver to maintian the clear look.
To install, you unplug the wire harness from the back of the stock US turn signal socket and plug it into the new JDM socket, then twist mount the socket into the headlamp housing.
Make sure the bulb is securely fastened when you mount the socket into the housing. If it isn't, the bulb can fall into the housing, and you will have a hell of a time fishing it out (I know from experience, having done this twice)
If you want a pair of sockets, you can PayPal payment to me at hesel@artsci.com.

I just want to know how I can order a set of the JDM lights from you! I would like to have them before my Outer Banks Run. Perhaps I can install them during the run???

airgate,
We don't deal in the JDM headlamp assemblies. In fact, I strongly advice that you get the European assemblies (Tim Hamm of MG Racing can get them). The JDMs are not proprely aimed for left hand drive cars and can never be properly aimed. For the life of me, I don't know why anyone puts them on left hand drive cars when the Euros are better for our cars.
