i've never heard s2000 outside of s2000, so last night i asked my firend to rev it up to 7000 while i was about 20 feet away from the car.

That's the beauty of the car. So quiet when it idles, and makes the good noise when it is working hard!!

 

I'm running all stock.

 

I've gotten the "SLOW DOWN!!" shout several times as well, and I wasn't even in V-TEC range. Of course, I probably have one of the loudest aftermarket exhausts out there (next to Amuse).

A friend of mine knows when I pull up to her house too. She says she can hear my car coming up her hill.

The car is awesome to hear in VTEC, especially in a tunnel.

 

Same thing with me.

 

I would like someday to get a db reading of the diffenent exhausts in a "flyby" at VTEC.

I know mine is alot louder than stock, but not offensive (to me ) although I do have this one guy who always has given me a dirty look when I putt through his hood at 25 mph. So whenever I go by HIS house I have to do a mini VTEC experience.

Of course no tunnel is safe from the sound of VTEC either since the Neuspeed exhaust. Always slow down and accelerate through them. What a great sound!!
