The car isn't that difficult to steal unless its being heavily guarded. Mine is always being watched by at least THREE ex-seals and a few mean dogs. I am yet to run into any problems and no more parking tickets

Sorry to hear of the loss. Maybe one day the pigs will get their priorities straight and help people.

Thank you guys for all your support! I know I was not the brightest for leaving the key in the bag . To make a long story short, my previous car, a 2003 Accord 6 sp. had the remote built in the key, and having the door lock cylinder jammed, (Someone must have tried to break in with a screwdriver or something), I couldn't take the key with me. With that habit, I did the same that awful day; Either I have been lucky to that day, or even the surfing sanctuaries have become incredibly f***ed up!
Bottom line is I learned a lesson the hard way. Eventhough I keep a slim hope of recovering by baby, and those few days of ownership were like heaven; I am almost scared to even buy another one. BTW, it's gonna be a bitch to find an S as nice as this one.

look at it this way, at least u didn't mod it just the way u liked it and then it was stolen. u can start over pretty easily with a good insurance pay out. that being said, im real sorry and im scared as hell that it's gonna happen to me.
