Just curious - how many of you have already: looked at for no particular reason, washed, waxed, detailed, driven (again, for no particular reason) you s2k? As I only got mine last night, I was up early, and have already waxed her - first night in a strange garage - thought she might be scared! Is this kind of excessive/anal behavior normal? Does it go away? Or does it just get worse?!

It's been 1 1/2 years and it doesn't get any better. I looked in the driveway first thing to be sure it's still there. Now you need to train your family/friends to ask you "Hey who's car is that in the garage?"

The first night I got the car, it called to me all night. I woke up around 5:30 am...went outside and washed it, waxed, polished the wheels etc.

Usually now I let it sleep in on the weekends, but it does still call to me for no reason once in a while and it gets a good once over.

The S2000 is kind of like an old girl friend you can never quite get out of your head. When you're not with her, you're thinking about her. Is it a sickness? If lovin' my S2K is wrong, I don't want to be right!

My car has been in Chicago, 1150 miles away, getting the spa treatment since Tuesday. You guy don't know the meaning of jonesing! It's one thing when you're away from home and the car, but when the car is away from you...

So Sondra, can you say "MUGEN"! Is that the treatment?

You must drive over to Sebring one of these days to have some fun with your old Florida pals .

Does it take anyone else 20 minutes to find the "perfect" parking spot.... in your own driveway?
This is a sickness, but I don't want to find the cure.

It's not a sickness it is an outright disease....

And I have definately contracted the disease, just ask the wife . She asked me today why it takes 4 hours to clean the S2000 and only 1 hour to do her benz ? I just told her the S2000 is special, she laughed and went into the house.
