You don't have to remove the front bumper if it is a AEM V1.

OK GUYS.. THANKS ALOT FOR ALL THE HELP... IT WAS REALLLLY HELPFULL... i finally got it done... and sounds great... i think i got a little more performance but not sure if its they hype of a new intake install or actual performance.. ah ha ha... oh well.. again THANKS GUYS... OH YEA... i got a K&N filter on it.. cuz that was the only filter i had.... u guys think it will make a difference.. betweeen AEM filter and K&N filter?.....AEM TUBEING !!!!!! !!!!!

They did about 5 years ago, they then sourced them to AFE and w/ in the past 2 years started making their own in house. Hence the new line of Dry filters they are now using. That is their newest product development for intakes.

i have installed and just last night actually removed my aem v2 intake WITHOUT removing the front bumper, i just took the pass wheel off and pulled back some of the wheel well lining. if your in orange county and you want help come over to my place in Orange and ill help you out.
