Intake installation...
Whats the easiest intake to install that replaces the stock air box? How much cutting is required for the AEM CAI V1 and V2? Do you really have to take off the bumper to install the AEM V1 and/or V2?

the only reason AEM would need to be cut is if you are putting the bypass valve in, which,IMO is not really needed if you are safe about how deep the water you drive through is, though its not a good idea to drive through water unless theres no way around it....

I didn't take the bumper off of mine to install my AEM v1, just jacked it up and got under the front and cut some of the plastic pieces underneath to fit the intake tube. Relatively easy install.

I just installed the v2 today and didn't remove the bumper, wheel or under tray. I didn't drain the coolant either. It's really a lot easier than the directions read. Just pm me for a step by step. I can shoot you my cell number and walk you right through. Only minimal cutting required. By the way, the intake sound is now what I would characterise as mean. It's very deep and menacing, especially at the vtec changeover.
