Don't expect any miracles, dude.

I have a disdain for the sound of the Injen/AEM intakes. Civic Si action. Harley Davidson noise.

I personally would go with whatever's the quietest (stock with aftermarket air filter, Comptech) or if you can justify the $$, go Mugen.

What I do like about the aftermarket CAIs is that they are better at getting cooler than stock box air to the engine.

i have the aem, I really like. I know that intakes on civic's usually sounds...well raspy and crappy. But i know that the aem on my s2000 sounds really sweet. It does give respectable gains according to many threads here.

I don't mean to come off rude, but you really should try searching on the subject. There is a LOOOOT of threads on intakes...give it a try...payce

I have the Comptech... I remember the first time I downshifted and accelerated on the freeway I heard this resonating rumble/roar that sounded like someone racing right up fast from behind. I looked around quick then got the old s2k grin when I asked myself "was that me?". I did feel a little extra "punch" before VTEC but it took a second before I realized that badass sound was me! No experience with AEM or others but I love my Comptech!
