23, bergen county NJ (highest insurance in the country - supposedly) i pay $2400/yr with Travelers insurance. it was the cheaest i found. full coverage with a $500 deductible. i have a clean record too. no accidents that were my fault and zero points.

I just got quoted 1028 per year for full coverage. I am 31 in Los Angeles. Wawanesa FTW!!

you need to get a beater car as a daily. your insurance will be dramatically cheaper.

i don't know about dramatically. evo 9 = $2,300/yr with 150k/100k & $300 deductibles, and CRX+evo 9 (pleasure vehicle) = $2,000/yr. 23 y.o., no tickets, no points, no accidents. living in so cal.

It has to do with a lot of other stuff people are not posting their info on. The amount of coverage can vary the rate a lot. Daily driver on the policy? Towing Covered? Rental Covered? Liability only? Some people are getting multiple policy discounts for having their home or life insured. Some are married and making a huge dent in there premium. Married and 25 years or older is even better. The location can matter. If you live in the city or just outside the city. Car color. Car Year. Brushing your teeth? J/k. The list goes on. Tons of stuff factor in.

i need to reinstate mine.... forgot to pay.

But before that i was paying about $250 a month for 6months full coverage with allstate as a pleasure car.

I am 21, bought my car with my hard earned cash, pay 180$ per month insurance, its not bad on the budget at all. my total expense monthly is under 500$, plus normal maintence which isnt much, just oil changes and filters.
