hey there,
im a newbie here considering to purchase a early year S2K (01-02) I searched the forums but couldnt find any info on specific rates and the best insurance company to go with. any info would be greatly appreciated!

1. Post your age, city, and # of tickets and accidents. Those will determine your rate to a large amount.
2. You can look on edmunds.com or cars.com for ballpark estimate.
3. Or do an online quote on geico.com or progressive.com to get an even better estimate.
It can range from $600 per year to $4000 per year.
Some members pay more in insurance than they pay in car payments.

Every driver and every location is different. My Accord cost me $800/year. I looked at the 350Z, it would have been $1,100/year. The S is $1,400/year. Also insurance companies have slightly different guidelines; so one driver might get a better deal with one company and another driver would do best with another company.

If your fortunate to have an extra car such as my truck that we seldom use and live at home and are on a group insurance it can be very little. Put yourself on the cheapest insured car for you and then have the s2000 listed as a pleasure vehicle. My insurance is only 1400 a year.

I live in portland,oregon, im 21 yrs old with 1 speeding ticket and i pay 190 and acually 190 is with 2 tickets my insurance hasent renewed yet so once they see that 1 ticket dropped and i only have 1 it should go down some

no offense or anything but insurance rate varies on a lotof things... and we all have different driving records and other status .....
so ur best bet is call insurance company and get a direct quote from them ...
