By the way....LEASING......
Unless you are very very sure that you are not going to stay with the car for long, and you are making more money than average, i would suggest not to lease it.
I leased a Mits 3000gt vr4 3 years ago, and I dont think that was a wise choice. I ended switching it to finance and sold it.
Couple of reasons, you have to be extra careful with the car, since you are basically renting it under your own liability. You pay more for insurance compare to financing/buying. You have to pay for closing cost when you return it + access miles + any repair and this includes access wear and tear (varies from company).
The best part is....you are driving under warranty, and once you are done, you dont have to deal with selling the car.
That is just personal opinion.....
Good luck

AZ insurance is high, even compared to northern CA (my previous home) because the theft rate is so high. Phoenix has the highest auto theft rate in the country due to our proximity to Mexico.
I am 37 with a perfect record, no accidents, no tickets, multi-car discount, home insurance discount, and I am paying about $700/6mo for the stook.
My recommendation would be to get your car licensed in FL and don't volunteer to the insurance company that you will be keeping the car out-of-state during the school year.
U of A, ASU or NAU, by the way?

I'm 26 and have one wreck going off my record at the end of this month...
I was paying 740 for 6mths through USAA, and I've been a member since I was 16...
I just switched to Farmer's and its 591 for 6 months with higher liability... Overall, a better rate. But this also factors in my accident going off the record. I left USAA for other reasons, not just to save a buck...

I pay $1,900 a year for full coverage on my S2000--about $700 more annually than I do for my other car. It's a lot considering that I'm 25, have a spotless record, and qualify for every discount imagineable at State Farm. Performance at a price, I suppose.

Well, I shopped around before getting the S2000, and with the exception of the likes of Geico or E-surance, other carriers actually came in higher. It's probably because my entire immediate family has car and life insurance through State Farm, and I've been with them for nine years.
At any rate, the reason my rates are so high is because I now live in the middle San Francisco, as opposed to the calm and tranquil settings of Orange County. Besides, I've had to file a few claims with State Farm in the past for theft and a minor accident (no fault of mine), and they handled both without any hassles whatsoever. I like the company, and our agent is a family friend.
