No disrespect, but you really shouldn't be complaining. You've had your license less than four years, already have 3-6 tickets, an accident, and drive a brand new $34k sports car? I'm shocked you got insurance through a normal company... I've seen many people turned down for less. I pay nearly $300 a month for good coverage with a clean record, and I'm 2 years older than you.

Remember, you pay $7500 a year for insurance. One good accident and they are going to be paying $10k+ for car repair plus what ever injuries you might cause... if it's a really bad one, they're looking at paying your policy limits.

well im not realy complaing. i got two tickets in over three years of driving.. one 4 point speeding 70 in a 50. and a 2 point ticket when i got in the accident(tire blew out and i hit a tree) failure to maintain lane.

the insurance points are 5 points cuz they paid out over 1000 dollars in repairs(1500). 2 points for the ticket. and 4 points for the speeding ticket. 11 total insurance points.

i guess i shoulda fought the "failure to maintain lane" ticket but i didnt feel like taking a day off from work to go to court..

Ah, fair enough. Your point system works differently out there... here you're need at least 3-4 tickets before you'd be up to 6 DMV points in most situations.

I pay $70.01 per month for 12 months for a full insurance for me, my car and a 3rd party. Could be paying $44.33 but then I would have to pay for the damages I do to other cars.

I think my deal is pretty sweet compared to what you guys have to pay
