Can anyone suggest a good full coverage car insurance company in southern california (San Diego)?
The insurance is so high for my car OMG. My dad has already called centurey 21 and eastwood, already. and the lowest price he got for full-coverage is 333/mo.
Insurance are killer on these bad boys, and was wondering if anyone can help me out.

If worse comes to worse, it means that I gotta use all my minimum wage money

Are you under 25 years old? If you are, get a 2nd car and almost no insurance on it. The 25 year old tax only needs to be tacked onto 1 car, the s2k and can be had for the same as if you were over 25.

I am with State Farm.

Try Mercury Insurance because 21 try to charge me 450 a month. But Mercury charge me 320 a month and better coverage also.

you guys are crazy paying that much. buy a beater car and insur it for almost nothing, the s2k will only be around $90 a month for more than just full coverage.

I don't get what you guys mean.

Buy a cheap car and insure it for almost nothing, and then insure the s2k?

What SonTon2003 is saying is that you are going to pay through the nose, period. No matter what carrier you use, you age is the determining factor, add in the other big factor, a sports car and that equals big insurance premium. If you bought a clunker and drive that for a few years until you hit 21 and then got an S2000, the insurance would be less (if you had a clean record) and by age 25 it would be even lower. Insurance is calculated on risks and people under 25 are typically very inexperienced and typically cause accidents. Add in a car that they are not capable of controlling and you have a recipe for a disaster. Insurance companies will give you the, we don't really want your business but if you want to pay through the nose and any other orifice you have, we will take it.

Try Wawanesa. They are in SD.

He means buy another car as your daily and insure the S2K as the 2nd car. The age penalty will be on the daily driver (cheaper car) and the S is the weekend car.

Keep in mind that if you insure a beater as your daily driver and an S2000 as your weekend car, then use your S2000 as a daily driver and get in an accident, your claim will likely be denied.

In my slightly older-and-wiser opinion, this talk of paying out the nose to own two cars, one of them a fairly expensive sports car, at the age of eighteen is insane. In all seriousness -- spend that money on something less frivolous, like college tuition, then get a sports car when you're older, insurance is cheaper, and you're making lots of money thanks to your college degree. It's not worth spending all of your money on something (insurance) that you'll have nothing to show for afterwards.

Steve
