well.. i have 6 points/3speeding and 1 accident. i'm 20 years old , just turned. i got 20k coverage and a dectuctible of 1500. basically my insurance is useless at this point of coverage but still need to drive. i pay 500/month. lucky within a year all my violations will drop and i will be 21 and i will then be quoted for 250/month. half of what i pay now.

I'm 20, and USAA just quoted me like $6,000 on the S2000 , but what can you do. I pay like $600 a year through Coverex on my bike, which is bare minimum coverage. Perhaps I will just have to fiddle with the options for the insurance... I already got it down to 4,000 a year. What can ya do...

 

I just switched from State Farm to Liberty Mutual and saved over $70 a month. But 15% of the savings is b/c they offer a group rate to Ohio State alumni assoc. members. Either way I like the savings. I insure my home and my CR-V, RSX, and S2k with them and the rate is $144/mo and then in winter I take the liability of the S2k to save ~40/mo. I'm 23, married, homeowner, multi car discount, multi line discount and my wife is a "good" student at her medical school.
