Ok, I am 20 years old and I bought my s and my insurance is $340 a month, and my record is clean not even a speeding ticket. My insurance company is State Farm and the say that the price that I am paying is CHEAP!!!! BS!!! Was wondering what some people pay that are in my age range.

I'm not your age but I have 2 daughters that are 20 & 24. The 20 year old still lives at home. On my policy it says that no one unmarried under 25 can drive my S2K. If I didn't have that on my policy it would cost me a fortune for my insurance.

There are many variables in insurance rates: age, zip code, marital status, sex, driving record, other policies with the company...

Why don't you just go get a bunch of quotes for what various companies will charge YOU, instead of asking what someone with a different profile pays?

I'm 24 and my wife is 29.. I own a house 3 cars and a bike. I also have State Farm, but they are cool enough to put the 2 epensive cars (s2k and celica) under my wife, and the cheap car (mr2) and bike under my name. The s2k is ~$80 a/m. Not to bad.

I don't understand your anger at your monthly payment. you're only twenty with a car that is a precision instrument capable of 150 mph. I'm not suprised by the amount you're paying.....it seems fair for a 20 year old with a very high performance sports car.

for shits and giggles we asked my I.C to price me a Corvette and be listed as primary driver back when I was 22.....it turned out to be $675 per month......with liability only. go figure.

this is the price of being young with a sportscar......you have to pay to play. when you age about 10-12 years........you'll understand.

I agree.

$340/month on insurance for a 20 year old doesn't sound that outrageous when I was 21 I was paying about $240/month on my Eclipse (non-turbo by the way).
