Once you've jacked up the car and go under and hold the brace up onto the car, you will see that the holes match only 4 bolts. If you hold it upside down or turned around, it won't match up (or the bolts won't be long enough). It'll all come to you once you're under there.

Oh, and make sure the car is jacked up equally from side to side or the frame will be under twisted tension. In other words, don't jack it up only one side. Jack up the whole front end with stands at each forward location.

One more hint:

There is a small chance that the bolts will have a hard time threading into the holes as there are several layers of metal that get clamped together in those locations. To ease this process and to minimize damage to the threads on the bolts and on the car frame itself, squeeze some oil (3-in-1 or motor oil) onto the bolt threads before installing. It's a bitch if one of them babies strips. Do them as far as you can by hand (with socket) before putting a rachette on them. If it binds, don't force it or you'll bugger up the threads.

What are the possible risks of not tightenin the bolts to exactly 28lbs?
(I dont have a torque wrench.)

can i just tighten them with a regular wrench?? (not too tight/loose.)
