Thanks Joe! That is my car, and the seats are a huge improvement from stock. The padding is much thicker and are more comfortable.

Thanks for the info Joe! This guide will really help smooth out the install.
The leather is definitely a better quality than OEM.
Haven't put mine in yet (waiting for a heat gun and hog ring pliers on order).
Pics coming soon . . . .

BTW, I picked up a digital guage heat gun from Lowes for a really good price. It was a wagner.

You're a wagner.

Sorry, guy at my office has been doing that for weeks, "You're a ____" response to everything you say. I am going to kill him.

Seat covers look awesome, I had no idea! Glad to know there is a better option than scouring Ebay for replacement seats locally.

Very good write-up with pics! It doesn't look like a job for the faint of heart though.

THANK YOU for the inspiration.

I used your write-up to fix my bolsters, which were in thee worst god-awful condition imaginable. I bought hog rings but decided to use zip ties instead, which surprisingly worked really well and also seemed a bit easier to work with if you're a girl and have puny guns like I do. The seats look good as new now, perhaps even better because I added batting (cotton filling) to make them more plush.

Thx

,
Macy

Good write up. That is pretty cool. I just would not be able to do all that. I think I would rather buy seats. But your thing was very creative.
