Installing Convertible Top Cover
New owner here --
I'm sure I'm missing something simple, but I can't figure out how to get the snaps on the back of the roll bar for the convertible top cover. My hand won't fit down far enough to hold the button out and place it over the snap. And the button won't stay out by itself.
What am I doing wrong.?

It's a tight fit. Make sure the roof is retracted all the way down, try hitting the roof button one extra time or since your car is probably new you may want to push a bit on the frame. This will help fold the top as tight as possible.
Next spread out the boot cover and align the snap on one side and push it in, go to the other side and tug on the cover to align the snap on the other side, it should pop right in on that side. Then attach the snap with the elastic by the doors. Finally go along the back of the boot and make sure it's all tucked in.
Removing is just the opposite. Yes, getting your hand down in there to release the snap is pretty tight.

Yeah, it's very hard to do on a new car. The snaps just go into place on their own when you're putting it on. Start with one side, then go to the other side. You'll have to do alot of pulling and streaching to get it to fit, but if you align it over the nipple thingy, it should just fall in.
This will get easier when the weather is hot and top has a chance to wear in. Also, make super sure that the top is all the way down. If it's not, the back side of the cover will keep poping out at speed. To make sure it's down all the way, just press on the fram a bit. You might have to push the fabric around the rear window back. Again, this won't be a problem after it gets hot outside. Good luck.
