It varies... but a good tip.. ONLY have someone do it who knows exactly what he is doing.. or he can fvck everything up.. When i get gears, i am going to pay to have hardtopguy do them

250-300 if you drive the car in.
now, basically you don't want to skimp on this. Labor is expensive, and its expensive for a reason. To do the gears not only do you need a competent mechanic to remove the diff, but one that has knowledge and experience doing gears. this job is labor intensive.

installation should be 250-300, but for an extra ~450 you can buy the entire comptech pumpkin (i.e. gears installed in comptech reinforced diff, with core exchange of course). You know it will be done right and you get the comptech housing which is $400. you will still have to bolt it up though.

install should be about 300 bucks
the oem kit is about 140
the ap2 diff about 350, the comptech about 450.

It all depends where you live. I'm in Phoenix and the only reputable place I know is Science of Speed and they asked me $550 for the install. That's if a bring all the parts.
