Default Install Invidia by myself?

Hey all, got my Invidia V4 and I'm DYING to install it. My friend was supposed to help today, but bailed at the last minute. I've installed exhausts before, but wondering if I'll be able to do this one by myself. From reading it looks like the stock exhaust is crazy heavy. I'm of average strength, can I do this myself?

Thanks!

Shouldnt be a problem!

undo the bolts, then drop the rear of the oem exhaust (the mufflers) off of the hangers onto the ground (put cardboard down under mufflers if you are concerend about scratching.

Now undo the front hangers and drop the pipe down.

Now slide the exhaust out from under the car on the cardboard.

Pick up oem exhaust off ground and toss it against the backyard fence for a month until someone from craigslist finally buys it.

Install Invidia same order as the removal of OEM.

Slide it under the car on cardboard, attatch the muffler part to the hangers, install front hangers, bolt it up.

Don't forget to slide the gasket in before bolting it up.

DONE.

Hahaha, thanks a bunch! I was actually thinking of Craigslisting the OEM. Guess I'll have to find somewhere to put it. Going to start now!

Like the guy said, should be easy doing it yourself, the only problem maybe dropping the oem piece alone since its all 1 piece from headerback

I've taken mine off and put it back three times and removed it and put an aftermarket on by myself. It kinda helps to have a jack to set under the first canister you take loose otherwise it hangs down crooked and puts a lot of tension on the hangers on the other side.

My suggestion: do not sell the OEM exhaust. You never know when you will want to put it back on.

For those of us that don't live on a couple of acres or appreciate having our backyards look like junkyards, I find that buying an oem exhaust from someone local for 50-100 bucks when the time comes is a much better answer than having the oem exhaust kicking around taking up space forever.

Between s2ki and craigslist, it really isn't a problem finding one.

For those in california, keeping the cat around for smog check is critical though...

Are you saying you need an exhaust? Do I have a deal for you!

I couldn't give away my OEM exhaust. End up scrapping it at a metal yard for $6 lol.
