I just checked cars.com and autotrader.com last night out of interest, looking at 07s. Most had 5K-20K miles and most had prices from $24K to $26K.

the dealers are dreaming if they think people would pay that much for a 07. Since Aug 08, left over 07 brand new were going for 25k.

+1 all the more reason to buy the Laguna 07. $19,900 is an awesome deal!

my brother just got a '05 w/ 25000 mile for $1.79. That is cheaper than a gallon of premium gas.

I'd be all over this one if it was GPW.

Thanks for all the responses to help me figure out how much I should be paying. I stopped by Pacific Honda out here in San Diego and encountered the sleaziest salesman possible. I only wanted to see used but he kept pushing for his brand new leftover S. Want to hear the kicker... for his '07 he wanted 34k! What a joke and he valued my '02 GS 300 for $4600. I'll let you guys know how the search goes. Thanks for being so helpful!

shoulda told him no one has paid msrp for a s2000 since like 05.

I cant believe he wanted full price for a 2yr old car. Honestly, I would have said I know that invoice for this car is 30-31k, and I know that car depreciation is roughly 2.5k a year for this car. 25,000 is not an unreasonable offer.

Then I would have asked him what's it worth to you to move a car that's been sitting on your lot for the last two years. Or better yet if you haven't sold the car at sticker price for the last two years, what makes you think that someone will buy it now at sticker price. On top of that there was only 100 new S2000 sold nation wide.

Having said that, what's the best offer you can give me?

$25, 9xx for MY 06 NFR with 7,500 miles at carmax. I looked around many different honda, independant, and individual cars, they either had too many miles or too many dents.

Everyone here is talking about absolute low ball cheapest prices they've ever heard about. I think that price is reasonable if maybe just a tad on the high side. My dad sold his 06 in Socal about 3 months ago for 23.5K it had just over 10,000 miles on it. I think an 06 with 34K miles would be a good buy around 20. The only downside is that the warranty is almost up mileage wise.
