Information about the Mugen Carbon Fibre CAI

S TWO K,
You probably have seen my car but with a short glance you can't easily identify my car as S2000 with all the body parts that I added on.
No seriously, we will meet each other very soon in the near future.
There is really nothing special about my ol' car, so don't expect much.

Thanks for the link, Gregg.
I really want this filter. You get proven results (of course, it's Mugen) and you can remove the air box, which saves weight . Anybody know how much weight the Mugen CAI saves? It's incredible that this part costs more than the headers though...
Well, I will get the headers first, and see if I can save a little money by purchasing the CAI in Japan on my next trip (hopefully, the conversion rate will be favorable, since currently it will be about $1184).

Hello All-
Just back from a whirlwind trip to Japan, including a trip to the TI race circut where Mugen was supporting their customer Integra (RS-X) Type-R race cars and F-3 teams.
Mugen did all the original race development that all the S2000 teams benefit from.
All the Spoon S2000 race cars use an UNMODIFIED stock airbox as dictated by the C-4 rules. Curiously they also used Mugen ECU's, Mugen N-1 Damper sets and many other Mugen bits....
Just a little FYI
Cheers,
Scott
