I am in the process of upgrading my stereo. I have a 2 channel amp and am getting ready to purchase a new head unit from a fellow board member and would like to know if anyone can tell me whether or not the Infinity Kappa 63.1l will fit or not? I think I read somewhere that the 62.1l will fit but they don't sound as nice as the others. TIA.

 

I put the 63.1's in mine. Fits perfectly. You will have to cut the basket, but that was no big deal to me. I got some foam baskets from Crutchfields which I used with the original plastic basket base to make a nice weatherproof housing. Also get the adaptor for the wiring! Sound great!

 

What adapter for the wiring?

 

The stock speakers have a clip in electrical connection. When you remove the stock speakers, you will need a clip adapter to attach the new speakers. Crutchfields will supply them for free with speaker order. Just ask for the same ones they use with Accords. Other stereo shops probably have them also.
