Independent Estimate of USDM S2000 Monthly Production

Thanks. Previous owner repainted the car, All the labels on the driver side is missing.

Just like it says: 4/ '06. Here in the US that means April 2006 but it may be different in the Great White North due to metric/imperial measurement differences (kilograms vs pounds), Northern Lights, and polar bears.

Well, that was anti-climactic. Either way, the car has lived in SoCal for more than half its life. Thank you!

Thanks for posting the Canuck VIN plate. I don't recall seeing one before.
I noted it's in English/French but the data is only in metric. The GVWR/PNVB of your car shows as 1535 kilograms which is the same weight as the 3385 pounds shown in my VIN tag in Post #77 (higher on the page.) Both our cars are 2006 model years so that's no real surprise.

My outside temperature gauge reads in in Celsius! I can't change it. That's also a fun fact. I also can't get any Honda TSBs or recalls serviced here without consent from Honda Canada.

I recall reading this same "problem" with UK cars. The outside air temperature sensor is behind the center of the front bumper cover. US models will read in F° and Canadian C°. I see no way to change this on the dash display but it may just be the sensor. (Absolute wild guess!) I'm assuming this sensor is a common Honda part and not S2000 specific.
If you want to take a chance US part number 2000-2016 Honda Sensor Assembly Ambient - Honda (80525-S30-941) has a note "this part fits your 2006 S2000" on the various parts sites. $50.
My other cars change the entire display from Imperial to Metric and back all at the same time.

Yes, the U.S./Canada '06 owner's manual confirms that U.S. models display F and Canada models display C, and there's no indication that you can change it. However, I highly doubt that the temp sensor is different; instead, it's almost certainly down to a difference in the dash display electronics. Far easier to just map the sensor's output voltage to a different numerical range than to specify two differently-calibrated sensor parts.
An interesting tidbit about Canada production (have I already mentioned this in this thread? lol) -- For MY04, all Canada cars were made in Tochigi. As we know, U.S. production for MY04 continued after the May '04 switchover to the Suzuka plant, with an "S" replacing the "T" in the VIN, and the VIN serials restarting. However, no further Canada cars were made for MY04, which means the last MY04 Canada car was made in Tochigi in 4/'04, and the first Canada car from the Suzuka plant was an MY05 car made in 8/'04.
