Correct
I knew the U.S. dealer took delivery in January '02 but I hadn't given any thought to checking the date of manufacture until I read this thread.
I'm blown away by the endeavor--yours as much as Honda's--underpinning the findings you've distilled into those first four posts.
Tremendous, tremendous work.

No data plate in the driver's (LHD) door jam or you looking for an exact date?

Any idea what happened to the data plate? This is quite concerning.
Without definite production numbers this makes an interesting guessing exercise for my math enfeebled brain. With the structural differences between LHD and RHD cars I'm assuming there were separate concurrently running production lines.
Date here suggests there were 5659 USDM MY2006 cars produced (or imported?) for an average of 471 cars/month assuming a constant production rate making car 4451 a "mid-9th month" car. That's May 2006. (This tracks with my "mid-11th month" car's July date.) Plus or minus, of course, depending on which month production started. MY2006 cars got DBW and other significant changes so I'm guessing production started no sooner than September 2005. That's a SWAG!
Doubt my guesses are real helpful but the math was fun.

5/'06.
Very late in the month, if it matters.
Not uncommon for these stickers to be missing. Typically it just means the car was repainted. Some shops mask off the door jamb stickers, others paint over them, others shave them completely for a perfectly smooth finish.
