Default Impression of AP1 and AP2

Well, been looking to purchase s2k for a while and now
I have test drove both AP1 and AP2, and the AP2 felt bit
more soft and not as exciting as the AP1 to me...I'm not
sure of what to choose...I like the looks of the AP2 better
but I think I like the driving feel of the AP1. I can't decide...

I felt the same way. I own an 01 s2k and I tried to buy an 05 but when I drove it the car felt completely different, too soft, gears are too short. I love my ap1.

All I wanted to know was just to see if I wasn't alone and people that drove both, pretty much felt the same. Don't be a fuken jack ass.

Since most of your time will be spent driving the car and not looking at it, I'd go with the one I enjoy driving the most if I were you.

Well, sounds like you have to choose which is more important to you. How the car looks, or how it feels. My impression is that you'll be happier with the Ap1.

I have an Ap2. I've got "very" limited experience with the Ap1's, basically just a test drive. I really don't remember the car being all that rough and I wouldn't consider my Ap2 to be soft by any stretch but I guess it's all up to what you're looking for and what you're used to.

Good luck in whatever you decide!

This has been beaten to death. I feel that the AP2 is FASTER at a track circuit. The suspension has been optimized along with larger wheels and tires to match. There is a great comparison between the two cars on BMI's battle at 10,000rpm. The AP2 smoked the AP1 on the track. Keep in mind the AP2 JDM version still has the F20c engine. The head of Spoon comments how the suspension geometry is improved.
