Default I'm selling my 2001 S2K....and buying an 02' S2K!

Yep, I'm selling my 2001 Honda S2000. I have found a great deal on a silver 2002. I have wanted to upgrade to the 02' due to some of the minor changes including the glass rear window, minor suspension/tranny tweaks, tweeter pods, etc.

I'll miss the beautiful red/black interior of mine, but (to me) it's worth upgrading. Anyone in Florida looking for a beautiful 2001 Silverstone S2000 with 23K miles and in mint condition?

I've posted an ad in my local paper and on autotrader!

For those that have an 02' and may have had an 00' or 01', are the upgrades/changes quite noticeable? I'm hoping that the car still handles great and shifts through the gears like a knife through hot butter!

Does anyone have info on the changes from previous year's to the 02', from their own personal experience? Can you tell the difference with the tranny and suspension?

I've heard the rear glass window is much smaller than the plastic one. Can you still see out of it clearly?

Any other feedback? Thanks!

Nate

Cool! Thanks!

I just hope I can sell my 01' and not lose too much money! I'm excited about the 02' as it is exactly what I wanted in the first place. I wanted the sebring silver, 02' model with low mileage. At the time that I began looking and was ready to buy, I couldn't find one at the price I wanted to pay, and now, boom! There it is! So I put it on hold and just need to sell mine. I thought about trading it in, but they will give me the shaft if I do!

There were changes, but I think that most people will agree that they're minor overall. I can't imagine that you'll find it price effective to make the trade unless a glass rear window is worth a few grand to you. Why not use that couple of grand on a hardtop?

Dookie, I don't think that blindspot issues will be enough to keep someone from buying this car; it's a convertible.

The changes in the 02 weren't significant enough for me to get one. The plastic window is much bigger and stays clear if you take care of it. I brought mine back from the dead when I bought it...looks crystal clear now.

I'm not very tall, and cannot see well out of the small glass rear windows in the '02 and on models. Wish they had found a way to make it larger.

Thanks,
Richard

Hey Nate where about is this s2k. Now I have to look out for another sebring ohh yaaa. I am not sure how much you are looking to spend, but I was looking thru the paper yesterday and one of the used car lots had a 03 s2k with 4k miles for 27k. I am not sure what the 02 is going for and miles. If you need more info on an 03 let me know.
