A friend of mine sold his MY03 to a dealer several months ago they gave him 17,000, for the car it had 40k miles on it. So i'm sure they get it for "much" less then they sell.

Good Deal!

ushjt,
If you are considering spending $21K you can find a 02+ with lower miles...just be patient and look hard. When I was shopping I used the Honda website to get the phone# from every dealer within 500 miles. Then I worked my way out until I found a deal I liked. It was about 450 miles away...worth every mile

Yes, that is way too high.... KBB (Kelley Blue Book lists that as $18,740. I'd say that's a resonable price.

That dealer is on crack...I got my '02(with 29k miles) for just under 24k. Some of these posts are good. There were big changes in the 02 from the 00-01, like the glass back window etc. Know the differences and call them on it. I would shop around though and get one with lower milage. 70k is too much IMO.

i quit on the black 2001 s2k w/ 70,000 miles (the price was too high)
and im now looking at a yellow 2002 s2k 48,000 miles for 21,500
i also like the little changes in 2002 s2ks
heres the link of the s2k info
i went to the dealer and check it out the car was flawless but the dealer wouldnt give me a lesser price then asking price, but i still would take it for 21,500
