Default If you had $1500.00....

If you had $1500.00 to spend on parts for your car what would you buy? (I'm thinking more along the lines of Performace parts)

So far I'm getting an exhaust. Not sure which one right now, probably going to be either the Comptech or the Neuspeed.

I'm thinking of also getting a Radar Detector. I haven't researched it much, but I'm sure I'll find more than enough information somewhere on the boards here.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

[Jaykkub]

*btw, I can't get the Comptech Supercharger right now. Let's just say the misses thinks the car has enough power as it is. Hopefully I can convince her by Christmas!

-VAFC VTEC Controller
-Suspension Upgrade (X-Brace)
-Mugen Header
-Exhaust

*I know I wouldn't be able to get all of them for $1500, but I would get a combination of a few, it's just that I can't make up my mind

Here's how I'd spend my performance oriented $1500

1. Skip the exhuast. Sound "cosmetics" mostly, little power gain, fairly expensive.
2. Pro-Flow Throttle Body (go faster)
3. K&N Filter (go faster)
4. Porterfield R4S pads (Stop faster)
5. Stainless brake lines (Stop more controllably)
6. Mugen front Sway (corner faster)
7. Spoon or other X-brace (corner faster)
8. High camber alignment (corner faster)
9. Voodoo knob (shorter shifts)
10. Driving school (go faster, stop faster, corner faster)

X-brace is probably the best bang for you buck you can spend on this car.

Then speakers if your into music.

I would also but about $400 aside for a good driving school. The best improvements to be made are with the driver.
