I would strongly recommend KEEPING your seats even if you buy aftermarket ones. For the minimal return that you will receive on the OEM seats (compared to the $3K per seat replacement cost), it's better to wrap them up and leave them in the basement in case you ever decide to sell the car (and the new buyer wants the stock seats).
I sold some Miata wheels once for a silly price, then regretted it later when the guy who bought the Miata from me wanted the stock wheels with the car. Of course there was no way I could have replaed them at what I originally sold them for!!

Listen to Sime, I had a similar experience. Besides I think selling a set of blue seats might be harder then a set of black or red. The buyer would have to be installing them in a blue, black, white or even silver car.
